Rev Sampson Knight

Sampson (pictured with his wife Kim above) came from a business background before having a middle of the night God encounter. This led him on a journey ministering to young people with Kim for nearly a decade in Sumner prior to being ordained as an Anglican Priest. Sampson has a degree in theology along with postgraduate studies from Laidlaw College and St John's College in Auckland.

His five fold Ephesians gifting is pioneer Apostolic: The God-given special calling and anointing to serve and strengthen the body of Christ by launching and leading new ministry ventures which advance God’s purpose, and expand His Kingdom often in a geographical area. The original Greek meaning of the word is “sent one with orders” (literally, one sent with authority, or ambassador).

Sampson is the Vicar of StMJ's (St Martin's St James) Riccarton/Spreydon and Chaplain to the City Mission and Mission to Seafarers board. Please contact him directly below if needed, or for further information about the Church, following Jesus, or being baptised.
